Hate to continue an ask conga line, but there's actually 3 timelines :D One where Zelda returns link to the past in order to relive his childhood, one where zelda has sent link to the past and they are living in a "Link"-less world, and one less known one which is created when link goes back in time while in the adult world (eye of truth, silver gauntlets). This timeline creates a future in which Ganon defeats link (:!Sorry if you're tired of hearing these ):
My answer:I think someone’s brought this up before, but might as well add it to the conga line, haha.

Contrary to that last comment, the games actually had an order. In Ocarina of Time when you went into the past you created a separate time line, one where you save Hyrule. But if Link never went back in time to save Hyrule then it would have gone into the windwaker's outcome. The king of Hyrule choosing to sink the kingdom in order to protect it from evil. So there is an order to it all, but just 2 different time lines.

Hi I notice that you get a lot of questions about the timeline. If you YouTube search "Link to the Future" and watch the top video everything will be explained.
My answer:For those who are interested!

residentevilchronicles Asked:
can you explain to me how the legend of zelda timeline goes? like what order do the games occur in?
My answer:I’d rather not… mostly because it’s too complicated, and it’s a subject for huge debate that the world may never agree upon.
I do believe some of our followers know where a link is to an online, translated version to Hyrule Historia, though, if you want to see that.

Problem with the timeline, or at least what I identify as a problem was that it was forced. Had there not been such a strong wanting of a timeline, I doubt they would have made one. The games hardly coincide with each other for a reason. If they were meant to be chronological, I think they would have emphasized time in the games.
My answer:
My answer:Some people just don’t agree on what it says about the timeline in regards to the game, because it doesn’t fit with their opinions on it and how they’ve seen the games before.
I personally don’t mind it, but that problem was a submission that many people seem to agree with.
I just want Hyrule Historia for the art.

I was thinking about getting Skyward Sword but are the controls bad or just difficult to get accustomed to?
My answer:Well, this is just one opinion, but I found them relatively easy to adjust to. I mean it’s a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not so bad.

Anon: No, there isn't an easier way, but if you're having trouble getting the rupees to pay that dick off, go into a dungeon (like the one on Bomb Island, or the one outside the little tunnel leading to the shrine on Dragon Roost), and use your hammer to break the pillars, go into the room with treasure, break those pots, leave, and repeat. It's a rupee grinding skill that has saved me from getting Treasure Charts.
